GALVESTON PIERS BACK IN BUSINESS!

Galveston fishermen are excited that the 61st Fishing Pier has been completely rebuilt since Hurricane Ike, and is ready to help anglers get a little further from shore, without getting their feet wet.

The Gulf Coast (90th Street Pier) is also open, but a section of pier decking is missing, keeping anglers from accessing the “T-Head”.

Galveston's Gulf Coast Pier at 90th Street and Seawall Blvd, is still damaged, but open to fishing.
