The new “Snap Shot” by EZ Access is a snap on “sight” that is positioned near the muzzle of a shotgun and functions as a sort of ghost ring or “peep” sight. Instead of lining up the target and a bead front sight along the barrel’s sighting ramp, the shooter only has to get the target inside the sight’s circle and fire. Of course, the circle is much larger than on a peep sight that is closer to the eye. The manufacturer says it can also be useful on a muzzle loader or revolver. I replaced the rear sight on my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 magnum revolver some time back with a Ghost Ring sight that greatly improved target acquisition and speed, so I am a believer in this concept. This should be good for wing-shooting, squirrel hunting, big or small game.
The price is certainly right, with the MSRP beginning at $14.99, and it is available in black or camo. Visit www.ezaccess.com to see this sight system and find a dealer or order online.
