SAN BERNARD RIVER MOUTH UPDATE

San Bernard River Mouth Update, from Jan Edwards

The attached pictures, taken by Albert Smith November 24, 2013, shows the current status of the San Bernard River Mouth – still closed. It has been closed this time since 12-7-12. The recent heavy rains in the San Bernard watershed have done nothing to re-open the mouth. A series of pictures (taken by Albert Smith) showing the mouth closing from its 2-22-09 opening until the current pictures can be found on www.sanbernardtx.com .

The San Bernard Mouth is still closed!

The San Bernard Mouth is still closed!

With the mouht sanded shut, and heavy rain upstream, it almost appears the San Bernard is dammed, and producing a costal lake!
